Tools You'll Use: Bandsaws, drill press, and both spindle and belt sanders.

How to Prepare:
Wear closed-toe shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting dusty. Bring a water bottle and any personal protective equipment you prefer. We’ll provide safety glasses, ear protection, and all the lumber needed for your project.

CoCo Ree is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the founder of Studio Kloak, an award-winning Chicago-based design studio focused on sustainable function and education.
