2 Day Spoon Carving (D)
Learn to Carve a Spoon!
August 5 (5:30pm – 7:30pm) + August 12 (5:30pm – 7:30pm)
In just two sessions, you’ll transform a block of wood into a functional kitchen utensil and a unique piece of handmade art.
We’ll begin by sketching your spoon’s shape and cutting the rough outline using a bandsaw and coping saw. Then, you’ll use hand tools like hook knives, sloyd knives, and gouges to refine the form and carve out the bowl. Along the way, we’ll cover tool safety, carving techniques, and how to finish your spoon at home with confidence.
No experience necessary
